We invite you to our international Nine Lessons and Carols 10am service on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at St. John’s By the Campus Episcopal Church.
 
In addition to congregational singing of carols from the 1982 Hymnal, the St. John’s Singers will sing anthems.

Prayer Vigil for Violence Prevention

Godly Play is for children 4 years old to 4th grade.  #JesusSquad is for youth 5th - 8th grade.  The Den is for youth 9th - 12th grade.  Calendars of Sunday school dates will be available in the parish hall.  Sunday school classes will meet December 10 and 17 at 9am.

Deepening Faith will meet on the second and fourth Thursdays either in the parlor or beside the fireplace.

Thank you for bringing your 5 cent recyclables to contribute to the Youth Pilgrimage fundraiser.  Please continue to bring them to the bins available by the church office.  We have raised $50 so far (1,000 items!) and hope for more over the holidays!

The Vestry decided that the first Sunday of every month there will be an offering taken for a charity. On December 3 the offering will be for Dance Marathon. Please make your checks out to St. John’s and put Dance Marathon in the memo line.

St. John's website was updated to a new version the week of November 13. The look is bare-bones until the parish decides whether to invest further in the current format or implement a new one. The YSS Giving Tree should be arriving this week (Sunday, November 19).  The tags are on the tree and the signup sheet is there with it.
 
Gifts will need to be returned on Sunday, December 3.  If you do not have time to bring them to St. John’s by Sunday, December 3, you will need to take them to Youth and Shelter Services (420 Kellogg).  YSS will be here to pick up the gifts on ... more
