Course Book: In Your Holy Spirit
A guide for the spiritually hungry who are ready to embrace and deepen their religious practice. This books draws you into the traditional practices of Anglican/Episcopal spirituality. It assume engagement with the world, rather than escape. It assumes ancient roots with practices useful in and responsive to modern life. As our society becomes more disconnected from faith and enduring values, and more focused on judging everyone and everything that doesn't meet our standards, this book offers a pathway into a Christian life grounded in love, true community, and adult relationships with God and one another.
Fall Formation Nights:
We can all agree that being Episcopalian is great. What’s harder to say is what exactly does being Episcopalian mean? For six weeks we’ll be looking at five keys parts of our tradition: Weekly Prayer, Daily Prayer, Reflection, Community, and Service. At the end of the course we hope participants will be able to “own” these essentials in a way that make sense for them. Class starts at 6:30 on Wednesdays starting on October 9th. Snacks provided!
