Service Guide
Compline: Rooted in monastic prayer, it is traditionally the last prayer service prayed before bed. Many find it to be a calming way to end their day.
Evening Prayer: EP is sometimes mentioned as being part of the “daily office". Which are a set of prayer services that many Episcopalians pray every day. This service includes readings from scripture, guided prayers, and traditional Canticles (Spoken Hymns).
Centering Prayer: This is a meditative prayer practice which focus on listening to what the Holy Spirit has to say to you. In the shared quiet of the group, you are invited into a time of reflective prayer.
Episcopalian’s deeply value prayer and it’s role in the church. During the reformation, many of the monastic offices were consolidated into morning and evening prayer, which is a way to order our prayers and bible readings with the Liturgical Year. Whether its your first time or your 100th, You are welcome to join us in prayer during the week, whether it be for the Eucharist, or to pray the daily office.
